May It Be

(lyrics by Enya from “The Lord of the Rings”)

May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road
Oh! How far you are from home

Mornie utulie (Darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alantie (Darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now

May it be the shadow’s call
Will fly away
May it be you journey on
To light the day
When the night is overcome
You may rise to find the sun

Mornie utulie (Darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way

Mornie alantie (Darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now

A promise lives within you now <end>

Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star. The Son is our sun. He is the Promise that Lives within us to carry us through the night. May it be.

Mia, I also was comforted by this song as I heard Enya sing it, but had to look up the words on the web to understand them all. God just told me that it was a message for me and thousands of others who are His saints. I can’t give you approval to publish this because I got it off a lyrics sight on the web. You can go there and get it for yourself, though. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/enya/mayitbe.html
I will check out your blog. Thanks.

God bless and keep you in Christ,
      Michael
